    Passive exposure also works very well. Any Spanish video that is catchy and entertaining will help a child to pick up the language. Some Spanish videos that are particularly good for younger children are Spanish Baby Einstein and the Chiquivideo series. The latter can be found on YouTube and comprises simple Spanish songs that also teach good moral values.

    Sorry, not familiar with them, but anything is better than nothing! I have a Mexican goddaughter of the same age in the US and her family is using DVDs, plus a variety of other things… friends who speak Spanish and more.

    I was reading about the Speekee DVD's from the UK…any comments? I have a 4 year old adopted son from Guatemala and want to help him to at least pick up some Spanish as he grows up.
