I just wanted to let my regular readers what is going on here: I am going to be posting one blog article a week instead of the two I’ve been averaging.
My plan, loosely, is to continue with a lot of reviews of software such as Rosetta Stone, Rocket Spanish, Fluenz, Pimsleur Spanish, and some others I haven’t even written about yet.
But I also have developed quite a list of free online Spanish courses that I will be exploring and reviewing. In fact, I’m quite excited about one of these sites and my review of it should be up in a couple of days… I think Wednesday will be the day my articles go up.
You may or may not know (or care) that I make a commission when people click through from my links and purchase something at Amazon or other vendors; I explain this on my About Me page.
So why will I review free sites? Because I am a former librarian and that urge to track down the best information will never leave me! Also, in today’s economy, there may well be people who have the time to study Spanish but not the money. I write for them as much as for everyone else.
Learnspanishrapidly.com is still quite a new site – it’s been up less than half a year – and I have lately begun spending time writing articles to put around the internet, so more people can find this site. For example, here’s one I just put out there last week:
Speaking Spanish: How to Learn Spanish Even if You Think You Can’t
If you’d like to keep up with what goes on here, you can sign up for my free ebook, Five Keys to Learning Spanish Rapidly, from the form on the right side of every page. That will get you my weekly email, listing what’s new on the blog. (And of course I think you’ll benefit from the ebook!) You can also click on the RSS button at the top right of the blog pages to follow the blog in an RSS reader. I blogged recently about how to do that.
In any case, here’s to learning more Spanish!
