This blog is designed to add supplementary information to my website LearnSpanishRapidly.com. On the site, I didn’t want to overload people with too much information about learning Spanish, as it’s easier to get started on learning to speak Spanish or anything if you know enough to get going… but not so much that it seems like a forever project!
Since blogs are typically a bit more informal, I’ll feel freer here to ramble and chat a bit. But the overall purpose is exactly the same: to provide information on how to learn Spanish fast.
What do I mean by fast? It actually means two things to me:
- If you are going on a trip to a Spanish-speaking country soon, it means learning Spanish words and phrases before you go.
- In all other situations, it means learning Spanish using methods that help you make the best use of your time. For example, I live much of the time in Mexico and I don’t expect I will ever stop learning Spanish. But there are many things that you and I can do that will make our mastery of Spanish go more rapidly.
Some of these methods fall into the “duh” category, like practicing. But others are not so obvious, such as knowing the best timing for reviewing what you have learned.
